Understanding Hidden Wrath

Hidden Wrath is differed anger, maliciousness, deceitfulness, craftiness, and the ferociousness embodied in people who are hurt, wounded, envious, jealous, insecure and ill informed, who directly or indirectly attack or mislead the innocent to bring themselves a sense of joy and release. This study will show us how to identify and avoid these people, so we can live in peace and harmony. Our objective will be to answer the following questions.

  • When does hidden anger manifest itself?
  • What problems does gossip cause?
  • What is the main reason for someone gossiping?
  • How does someone with hidden anger hide their intentions?
  • How is deceit often hidden?
  • Who is our greatest enemy?
  • What’s the mark of a foolish man?

We will address the source of antagonistic situations that many of us may have encountered over the course of our lives that have caused us to become disheartened and discouraged because of the level of deceit and craftiness these onslaughts were executed with. Our purpose is to reveal this behavior from a biblical perspective and to analyze the lamentation given by those affected by it. We will also look at the nature and character of the individuals who have hidden anger to see how YAH views their nature and latter end, which is judgment.

“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. (Exo 20:16 RNWEB)

We cannot be a liar against our neighbor for any reason, regardless of the situation and circumstances.

“‘You shall not steal; neither shall you deal falsely, nor lie to one another. (Lev 19:11 RNWEB)

One of the areas everyone needs to be more diligent with is dealing with concerns and feelings that are causing us discomfort when we are around or interacting with specific individuals, we need to do whatever it takes to deal righteously with them, even if we are having a hard time speaking to them and find it necessary to bring in a mediator to help clear up the matter in accordance with the law. This is one of the things Elohim will look at when determining our level of righteousness before he allows us to receive eternal life.

One major area that many people are neglecting is they spend very little time in scripture and a great deal of time reading what other people have to say about scripture. This happens because many people are fascinated by the biblical storytelling of their favorite orators which has led to a strong removal of spirituality from mankind. If we return to the basics, which is to be trained, tutored, guided, and directed by the word of Elohim, we will find ourselves becoming offended by the emotional and independent intellectualized commentary on scriptures. We don’t need someone else’s exegetical view on scripture, we need to understand the word of Elohim as it is presented contextually in scripture and have the diligence and dedication to meditate on it.

Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs. (Pro 10:12 RNWEB)

When this verse says that hatred stirs up strife it doesn’t necessarily mean hating someone else, it can also be talking about people who hate themselves. If we hate or dislike ourselves, there is no way we can like or love anyone else. Love began with Elohim and he has shown us how to love, there is no strife, envy or animosity in Elohim. Since were made in his image and likeness we should be acting like him, and it’s important that we understand and deal with all the nuances that exist within us concerning iniquity before it starts to manifest itself as a beast we can’t control, if this occurs, we have allowed our mind to become reprobate.

Strong feelings like hatred, wrath, and strife are not always apparent, there normally very well concealed and only manifest themselves in times of adversity. When this happens people will usually be hurt, were not talking about physically, though it could happen. This is why it’s important we are diligent, prudent, and practice discernment, so we can avoid volatile situations that are just waiting to happen.

He who hides hatred has lying lips. He who utters a slander is a fool. (Pro 10:18 RNWEB)

An example of hatred with lying lips would be someone that hates you but says they like you. It’s the fool that hides their true emotions, that’s why were instructed in the law not to lie to one another, we need to tell each other the truth.

So is the man who deceives his neighbor and says, “Am I not joking?” (Pro 26:19 RNWEB)

Neighbor in the original text means anyone, and we have all experienced someone speaking their mind then saying “I’m just Joking or kidding.” To Elohim this is deceitful and an abomination because there being honest about how they feel than changing the annotation and inflection by following up with “I’m just kidding.” If left uncorrected this type of action could keep people from inheriting eternal life.

For lack of wood a fire goes out. Without gossip, a quarrel dies down. (Pro 26:20 RNWEB)

Gossip and tale bearing causes many problems because people are spreading unsubstantiated roomers that are causing friction between the parties that hear their foolishness and end up believing them as if they were presenting facts. The gossip or tale bearer will not inherit eternal life! It is generally jealousy, envy, and insecurities that drive talebearers. Now on the other hand if we’re dealing with real facts it’s ok to discuss a strategy for preservation.

When referring to facts were talking about anything that’s indisputably the case; A statement or assertion of verified information about something that’s the case or has happened.

As coals are to hot embers, and wood to fire, so is a contentious man to kindling strife. (Pro 26:21 RNWEB)

Dissension, strife, and animosity should not exist between people, especially those in the covenant, the tenets we follow absolutely forbids it.

The words of a whisperer are as dainty morsels, they go down into the innermost parts. Like silver dross on an earthen vessel are the lips of a fervent one with an evil heart. A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but he harbors evil in his heart. (Pro 26:22-24 RNWEB)

We can see a pattern in scripture, showing if someone dislikes or hates us, he will hide or disguise himself with lying lips. He is not going to tell us, he will be a hidden enemy, someone who presents himself as a friend.

When his speech is charming, don’t believe him; for there are seven abominations in his heart. His malice may be concealed by deception, but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. (Pro 26:25-26 RNWEB)

This is hidden wrath and there are more people of this character and content, then there are righteous. People who exhibit these characteristics are walking abominations, completely detestable to Elohim. This is why he put in the law book to tell our brothers and sisters the truth, so if we have a problem with someone we need to bring it to their attention, not bury it with friendly smiles and kind words. Left unattended these feelings will fester drawing us closer to becoming reprobate, and it will eventually show itself.

Whoever digs a pit shall fall into it. Whoever rolls a stone, it will come back on him. A lying tongue hates those it hurts; and a flattering mouth works ruin. (Pro 26:27-28 RNWEB)
Don’t boast about tomorrow; for you don’t know what a day may bring forth. Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips. (Pro 27:1-2 RNWEB)

It’s ok if were praised by others, however we should never praise ourselves, this is detested by Elohim. We should do all things to the best of our ability, so we can present ourselves before Elohim as obedient children, not for the accolades of men. If we boast about ourselves and seek the approval of man it will lead to arrogance and a proud demeanor.

A stone is heavy, and sand is a burden; but a fool’s provocation is heavier than both. (Pro 27:3 RNWEB)

A fools taunting comes unexpectedly, will assume everything is fine until it’s not.

Wrath is cruel, and anger is overwhelming; but who is able to stand before jealousy? (Pro 27:4 RNWEB)

Jealousy is worse than wrath and anger, we need to learn to know our audience, keep the peace and move on. Remember the prudent man will avoid trouble because he sees it coming.

Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; although the kisses of an enemy are profuse. (Proverbs 27:5-6 RNWEB)
Help, YAH; for the reverent man ceases. For the faithful fail from among the children of men. Everyone lies to his neighbor. They speak with flattering lips, and with a double heart. (Psalms 12:1-2 RNWEB)

Were seeing how it’s possible for someone to turn on us very quickly, even though we assume everything is ok. This is because these people have unstable minds, their double minded, and they never liked us to start with. We need to understand how this happens if we want to keep the peace and avoid painful situations.

May YAH cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that boasts, (Psalms 12:3 RNWEB)

Elohim tells us to speak the truth, we cannot be covering deceit with flattering lips. The scripture teaches us not to bare a grudge against our brother without a cause, so if we have an issue with someone we need to have a cause. If there is no cause then the culprit is jealousy, envy, or insecurity. We need to be careful that we ourselves are not striving against Elohim with this type of demeanor.

who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail. Our lips are our own. Who is master over us?” (Psalms 12:4 RNWEB)

Every word we speak needs to be in subjection to the word of Elohim, if it’s not he will treat us just like Satan, and use us for unrighteousness, and our fate will be the lake of fire, the second and final death.

“Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says YAH; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him.” (Psalms 12:5 RNWEB)
To you, YAH, I call. My rock, don’t be deaf to me; lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit. Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place. Don’t draw me away with the wicked, with the WORKERS OF LAWLESSNESS WHO SPEAK PEACE WITH THEIR NEIGHBORS, BUT MISCHIEF IS IN THEIR HEARTS. (Psalms 28:1-3 RNWEB)

The Spirit is speaking through David to show us how to obtain peace in the world system. Were only here because YAH has given us the grace of time so that we may turn to the covenant and learn to follow it. Then will be tested and tried, not only to see if were worthy to receive eternal life, but also to make us aware of areas that were not adhering to the covenant in order to correct them before it’s to late.

Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings. Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve. Because they don’t regard the works of YAH, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up. (Psalms 28:4-5 RNWEB)

Elohim will help us recognize those who are acting deceitfully against us if we’re keeping all the precepts of righteousness. Either by forcing them to show their hand directly or through a third party that makes their intentions known. We must be prudent and not walk foolishly, when we find out someone is working deceitfully toward us, we must use wisdom, prudence and discernment when dealing with the matter.

Listen to my prayer, Elohim. Don’t hide yourself from my supplication. Attend to me, and answer me. I am restless in my complaint, and moan, Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked. For they bring suffering on me. In anger they hold a grudge against me. My heart is severely pained within me. The terrors of death have fallen on me. Fearfulness and trembling have come on me. Horror has overwhelmed me. I said, “Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then I would fly away, and be at rest. Behold, then I would wander far off. I would lodge in the wilderness.” Selah. “I would hurry to a shelter from the stormy wind and storm.” Confuse them, Master, and confound their language, for I have seen violence and strife in the city. Day and night they prowl around on its walls. Malice and abuse are also within her. Destructive forces are within her. Threats and lies don’t depart from her streets. FOR IT WAS NOT AN ENEMY WHO INSULTED ME, THEN I COULD HAVE ENDURED IT. NEITHER WAS IT HE WHO HATED ME WHO RAISED HIMSELF UP AGAINST ME, THEN I WOULD HAVE HID MYSELF FROM HIM. (Psalms 55:1-12 RNWEB)

David is grieved over his enemies and there causing him distress, however the greatest distress is not from the ones he recognizes as enemies because he can just hide himself from them, but the enemies that he calls friends.

We should not interact with people that we’re aware dislike us, it’s not prudent. When we are around them for whatever the reason, we should present ourselves as being friendly, intelligent, and peaceful. There is no reason to be with them longer than we have to, our priority is to be kind and keep the peace until we can leave.

But it was you, a man like me, my companion, and my familiar friend. We took sweet fellowship together. We walked in Elohim’s house with company. (Psalms 55:13-14 RNWEB)

It was not an enemy that reproached David but someone he considered a friend, they regularly had fellowship and even worshiped together.

The worse deceit comes from people that we have already let become a part of our lives, the hidden enemy that may be within our gates. We would not expect someone professing to be a brother or sister walking in the covenant to hurt us in any way that’s why it’s important we are prudent and learn to discern a lying tongue.

Let death come suddenly on them. Let them go down alive into grave. For wickedness is in their dwelling, in the midst of them. As for me, I will call on Elohim. YAH will save me. Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice. He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, although there are many who oppose me. Elohim, who is enthroned forever, will hear, and answer them. Selah. THEY NEVER CHANGE, WHO DON’T FEAR ELOHIM. (Psalms 55:15-19 RNWEB)

These types of people never change, it’s just who they are, they didn’t become this way over night, they have always been this way. If someone feared Elohim they would subdue their negative emotions, but these people don’t fear him.

He raises his hands against his friends. He has violated his covenant. His mouth was smooth as butter, but his heart was war. His words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords. (Psalms 55:20-21 RNWEB)

The reason we are so hurt by these types of people is because we truly believed they were our friends, and we opened ourselves up and let down our guard. The enemy disguised as a friend can turn in a second and if were not careful we won’t see it coming.

We are given the same message repeatedly in scripture, this is a huge issue, many people are seriously hurt by people posing as friends. If there is a problem, we need to address it because if we don’t it will continue to build until we become the hidden enemy. If we analyze ourselves and find there is no reason to hold a grudge against another, we need to get rid of the bad feelings, were most likely harboring jealously.

Cast your burden on YAH, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. (Psalms 55:22 RNWEB)

He will never allow the righteous to be moved if we call on him and ask to be saved and delivered. We need to tell him we have been treated unfairly and unjustly in a particular situation and ask for his help. This cannot be done in a self-righteous manner with a self fulfilling agenda.

But you, Elohim, will bring them down into the pit of destruction. Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days, but I will trust in you. (Psalms 55:23 RNWEB)
My enemies speak evil against me: “When will he die, and his name perish?” If he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers lawlessness to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it. All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me. “An evil disease,” they say, “has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more.” Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me. (Psalms 41:5-9 RNWEB)
Oh that my head were waters, and my eyes a spring of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people! Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they are all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men. THEY BEND THEIR TONGUE, [AS IT WERE] THEIR BOW, FOR FALSEHOOD; AND THEY ARE GROWN STRONG IN THE LAND, BUT NOT FOR TRUTH: FOR THEY PROCEED FROM EVIL TO EVIL, AND THEY DON’T KNOW ME, SAYS YAH. (Jeremiah 9:1-3 RNWEB)

These people hide their true feelings with lies, they don’t stand for truth. If we entered the covenant by being purified in the name of Yahshua we must keep ALL the laws, precepts, and statues of Elohim, it’s who we our! The laws of Elohim need to be in our mind and heart, every breath, we take needs to be done with the realization of who we are in the covenant and what’s expected of us.

Take you heed everyone of his neighbor, and don’t you trust in any brother; for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will go about with slanders. They will deceive everyone his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies; THEY WEARY THEMSELVES TO COMMIT LAWLESSNESS. (Jeremiah 9:4-5 RNWEB)

They wear themselves out committing iniquity, these are bad people, Their thoughts are contrary to the laws of righteousness, however they present a different image on the outside.

Your habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, says YAH. (Jeremiah 9:6 RNWEB)

We cannot continue to see what YAH is lamenting on and be aware of similar traits within ourselves without correcting them. We must not let deceit keep us from knowing Elohim, how can we continue to do something he abhors?

Therefore thus says YAH of Armies, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how [else] should I do, because of the daughter of my people? Their tongue is a deadly arrow; it speaks deceit: one speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in his heart [mind] he lays wait for him. (Jeremiah 9:7-8 RNWEB)

Elohim is doing two things, he is showing us how to preserve ourselves from those who have these traits and warning anyone that exhibits them that they need to be corrected.

Shall I not visit them for these things? says YAH; shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? (Jeremiah 9:9 RNWEB)

Elohim hates this type of behavior, it violates the laws of human relations. Remember the covenant is broken up into three distinct parts, the Laws of Holiness which teach us how to serve YAH. The Laws of Morality which teach us how to interact with each other, and the Sacrificial Laws which were given to redeem us if we break the laws of morality or holiness.

He who is truthful testifies honestly, but a false witness lies. THERE IS ONE WHO SPEAKS RASHLY LIKE THE PIERCING OF A SWORD, but the tongue of the wise heals. (Proverbs 12:17-18 RNWEB)

There are many people who speak with hard words, doing so is contrary to the laws of the covenant. For example, if we say good morning, and they say what’s so good about it, or we hurt ourselves, and they say it’s probably because we have some sin in our life. These are hurtful words, our words need to be soothing and give comfort.

Truth’s lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only momentary. Deceit is in the mind of those who plot evil, but joy comes to the promoters of peace. No mischief shall happen to the righteous, but the wicked shall be filled with evil. Lying lips are an abomination to YAH, but those who do the truth are his delight. (Proverbs 12:19-22 RNWEB)
A righteous man hates lies, but a wicked man brings shame and disgrace. (Proverbs 13:5 RNWEB)

A righteous man does not lie, this includes the things many people don’t consider lying. For example, if we ask a brother if there’s a problem between us, and he says no, however he tells others there is a problem for whatever reason. Under the precepts of our faith were mandated to bring our problems and concerns to our brother, this is the only way to diffuse and fix a situation.

Therefore YAH will not rejoice over their young men, neither will he have compassion on their fatherless and widows; for everyone is profane and an evil-doer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. (Isaiah 9:17 RNWEB)

This is talking about hypocrites, those who say they believe one thing and do another, their mouths speak foolishness. It’s only by wisdom, prudence and the ability to discern righteously that we will not be fooled by them.

For wickedness burns like a fire. It devours the briers and thorns; yes, it kindles in the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke. Through the wrath of YAH of Armies, the land is burnt up; and the people are the fuel for the fire. No one spares his brother. (Isaiah 9:18-19 RNWEB)
Listen, my son, and receive my sayings. The years of your life will be many. I have taught you in the way of wisdom. I have led you in straight paths. When you go, your steps will not be hampered. When you run, you will not stumble. Take firm hold of instruction. Don’t let her go. Keep her, for she is your life. DON’T ENTER INTO THE PATH OF THE WICKED. DON’T WALK IN THE WAY OF EVIL MEN. (Proverbs 4:10-14 RNWEB)

We need to avoid the path of those who are wicked, these types of people will be made manifest to us, and it’s important to realize it’s not within our power to change their ways.

Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. TURN FROM IT, AND PASS ON. FOR THEY DON’T SLEEP, UNLESS THEY DO EVIL. THEIR SLEEP IS TAKEN AWAY, UNLESS THEY MAKE SOMEONE FALL. (Proverbs 4:15-16 RNWEB)

These types of people exist, and we interact with them to some degree or another every day, it’s important we make sure were not one of them, we must pray, and do a self analysis and quickly work out anything we find that’s wrong. As for these people, learn to quickly discern who they are and avoid them. Unless we are truly transformed by the word of Elohim we will not change, will always be the same person. The vast majority of mankind will never change even if they are professing to walk in the covenant. It’s only those who truly love the word of Elohim and put his laws and precepts before all else in their lives that have the possibility of maturing and transforming themselves, so they can inherit eternal life.

Drive out the mocker, and strife will go out; yes, quarrels and insults will stop. (Proverbs 22:10 RNWEB)

If there’s a lot of contentions and strife around us, there is most likely a mocker, one who expresses contempt and disdain openly among us. We can never have peace until we drive the mocker out. Since we would be avoiding this type of person already if they were not proclaiming to be a child of righteousness, this requires that we comply with the precepts of the law and first approach them, then do an inquiry to try and work out a resolution, if they don’t listen then we need to bring in others to help and if the person makes it clear they won’t change, then drive them out.

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth. (James 3:13-14 RNWEB)

It’s important we remain faithful to the truth, when we start to intellectualize and try to justify our own self ambitions we forsake the truth. The truth never changes and it’s important we don’t try to rationalize foolishness by trying to change the principals set forth in the law by redefining them. If you’re not interested in receiving eternal life that’s fine, but then stop pretending, you’re not fooling anyone, especially Elohim.

This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. (James 3:15-16 RNWEB)

We need to be able to discern those who are contentious and argumentative and learn to avoid them.

for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions [clicks] among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men? (1 Corinthians 3:3 RNWEB)
Pride only breeds quarrels, but with ones who take advice is wisdom. (Proverbs 13:10 RNWEB)

Pride breeds contention and arguments, however if will listen and take advice then were showing wisdom.

A simple man believes everything, but the prudent man carefully considers his ways. (Proverbs 14:15 RNWEB)

The foolish man believes everything, a wise man carefully listens to what’s being said. We need to carefully listen to what people are saying and discern their intentions, then we can make our decision based on what they really were saying.

The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge. (Proverbs 14:18 RNWEB)

A man who walks with the wise fairs wisely, however a man who walks with a fool receives a fools reward. We have to judge every man by his works, either there keeping the covenant or there not. Those who are wise, shrewd, and careful are endowed with knowledge.

Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, he will fall into his own trap; but the blameless will inherit good. (Proverbs 28:10 RNWEB)

We’re not the predators if were practicing righteousness, were the prey and the predators are those walking unrighteously, who are wounded, and easily influenced by their feelings because they only care for the the things of this world and the desires of their flesh, he will try to deceive and manipulate us every time.

A prudent man sees danger, and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it. (Proverbs 22:3 RNWEB)

A wise man sees danger and risk then avoids it, but the naive man doesn’t see it and pays the price.

A righteous person is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray. (Proverbs 12:26 RNWEB)

The righteous should choose their friends carefully, because the ways of those who are unrighteous can easily entice them. We need to use a considerable degree of discernment when choosing who we partner with, because the scripture says the righteous are as prey and the predators are those walking unrighteously.

so again have I thought in these days to do good to Yerushalayim and to the house of Judah. Don’t be afraid. These are the things that you shall do: speak every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates, and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate,” says YAH. (Zechariah 8:15-17 RNWEB)

We need to be truthful and honest, if we have problems with our brothers or sisters we should sit down and suitably resolve them in accordance with the laws and precepts of Elohim. If we serve Elohim we’re going to hate the things he detests, such as pathological liars who are insincere, not committed and get involved in gossip, sowing discord, and performing abominable acts. These types of people hate us, yet they are often received openly as friends. We must avoid and separate ourselves from those who come among us as wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing. We cannot serve two masters, we must stay fixed on righteousness, if we allow ourselves to be pulled into these situations were going to end up putting someone or something before Elohim.

YAH, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy hill? He who walks blamelessly does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart; (Psalms 15:1-2 RNWEB)

It’s the people that live a blameless life, behave uprightly, and speak the truth from their minds that will dwell with Elohim.

He who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man; In whose eyes a vile man is despised, but who honors those who fear YAH; he who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn’t change; (Psalms 15:3-4 RNWEB)

We must be steadfast in the faith holding to our oath [promises], no matter the cost.

he who doesn’t lend out his money for usury, nor take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be shaken. (Psalms 15:5 RNWEB)

This is our hope, faith, and confidence!

When were dealing with those who are unclean we need to be careful with our words, because the unclean, perverse, and wicked study them in an attempt to find something usable . This is how there able to create effective campaigns of slander, in order for a lie to be believable there needs to be a little truth to it.

The heart of the righteous weighs answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes out evil. (Proverbs 15:28 RNWEB)

The mind of the righteous considers and contemplates before speaking because they know once words are spoken, they can’t be taken back.

He who guards his mouth guards his soul. One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. (Proverbs 13:3 RNWEB)

He who keeps watch over his mouth preserves his life, but one who talks too much comes to destruction.

One of the things our adversaries hate is when we keep quiet, because they want our words, they want to belabor the debate, continue to operate with contention and be argumentative. They take joy and pleasure in creating frustration, irritation, and dissatisfaction. Elohim counts this behavior as foolishness and a child of righteous should not give time to fools.

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life. (Proverbs 4:23 RNWEB)

We must guard our mind with diligence, because out of it comes everything we’re thinking and feeling, once it’s out we cannot take it back. There may be times that we need to consider the feelings and thoughts were having before addressing a situation, this means stepping back and not letting the heat of the moment drive our response.

But sanctify YAH Elohim in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear: (1 Peter 3:15 RNWEB)

This is the point we need to be speaking from at all times. We need to separate YAH in our minds, remember were told in scripture if any man speak, let him speak as to the oracles of Elohim, and if one minister’s let him do it from the ability Elohim gives so he may be glorified in all things. We must weigh consequences and repercussions before we engage in an action, for our witness is received by both word and deed, and it’s our responsibility to present ourselves to others acting as children of the covenant, the same way we would if we were in the presence of Elohim.

YAH, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy hill? He who walks blamelessly does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart; He who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man; In whose eyes a vile man is despised, but who honors those who fear YAH; he who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn’t change; he who doesn’t lend out his money for usury, nor take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be shaken. (Psalms 15:1-5 RNWEB)
