The Bread of Life

Understanding Humility

The righteous shall inherit the land, and live in it forever. (Psa 37:29 RNWEB) My eyes will be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will serve me. (Psa 101:6 RNWEB) This is the reason it’s important to hold our post, be committed, not just convicted by words but showing our conviction by what we practice and the tenants that we hold true through our works. We are measured by what we do, not the seemingly good intentions we think or say, it’s only those that are truly righteous and faithful that will inherit the coming Kingdom. But the humble shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (Psa 37:11 RNWEB) Who are the humble? In this … Read entire article »

First if speaking in an unknown tongue (language) is the evidence for receiving the Holy Spirit then John the baptist must have missed the boat. He didn’t speak in tongues, raise the dead, or lay hands on people and heal the sick, yet were told in scripture he was filled with the … Read entire article »

Trials, Tribulation, and Judgment

The objective of this study is to answer the following questions. How do we know if we’re being tested? Are all calamities a form of judgment? Why are we tested and put through trials? (Galatians 6:7 RNEB) If we make a mistake or bad decision it will come back to us. For example, we can’t decide to gamble, lose all … Read entire article »
